In the seventies, drugs were seen as a cool thing to do. Maybe that is because then the crime rate was not as high as it today. Possibly, then drugs has a better quality than they have today. It could be drugs were cool to do because that was what people did to fit in to in-crowd of society. In the past, drugs were easily accessible. Even though drugs were illegal then, they were in heavy use. The seventies was the era of discos, house parties, rock and roll, and the times when the pimps and players ran the street. Drugs played a major role in these times. This scene thrived on drug use, but the three major drugs in use then were heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.
