Media can be defined as materials that hold data in any form or that allow data to pass through them. For example, floppy discs. There is also �trade press media� this includes magazines, newspapers etc. Media can be influenced by a number of things, or people�. specifically newspapers influence the population as they can, to an extent, print what they want. You could also say that newspapers are influenced by the population. Newspapers are usually biased towards certain issues, in particular politics. Almost all of the different newspapers in England are either �right-wing� or �left-wing�. Left-wing newspapers are in favour of the government party, Labour. Right-wing newspapers are in favour of the Conservative party. This is extremely significant, especially around political times, such as a vote. Newspapers can heavily influence a person�s decision, based on just what they report. Politically, most British newspapers are right-wing. Of the tabloids, only the Mirror is left-wing. Of the broadsheets, the Guardian is left-wing, while The Independent and The Times are left-win......
