During my high school days, I had my share fun being the school mascot. I was the Marietta Blue Devil for the basketball team. It was not what I wanted to be like because I gotten into events that should not have occurred only if I was not so hard headed. Last year, as a senior, I was the Marietta Blue Devil then-mascot. My coach told me to roam about and be funny, but "NEVER go into the opponent stands". Of course, my first game into the season I immediately began going into the stands, even into the nosebleed section. Shall I mention that I usually warm up before a game with a 20 oz. of Pepsi, Lil� Jon, and a half-pint of highly sugared Kool-aid? I found that it calmed the butterflies. Actually, it vaporized the nervousness. Anyway, on one such excursion into the wild, I encountered some rather loud-mouthed teenagers (on the opposing side) who were obviously not given enough love in their wonder years.
