Willy Wonka Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Movies are an enjoyable and educational look at various aspects of human interactions with society. If one is willing to look for a deeper meaning of a movie, he or she can find a completely new realm of the movie that does not appear upon first glance. A prime example of this statement is found in the childrens movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The basic plot of the story involves five lucky children, by opening candy bars with golden tickets inside, are given an opportunity to tour of the very illustrious and mystical chocolate factory owned by the well-known candy maker Willy Wonka. Once inside, four of the children fall victim to their own weakness that lie close the recognized seven deadly sins and leave the tour in a very demented way as part of a test that is later revealed at the end of the movie. The first child to meet their demise is Augustus Gloop who typifies gluttony. Gloop repeatedly ignores Wonka’s request not to drink from the chocolate river. Continuing to drink from the river, Gloop indivertibly falls into the chocolate and is propelled in the plum......
