Contrast of Grimm Snow White and Disney Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs In the Disney and Grimm Versions the characters Snow White, Queen/Stepmother, Seven Dwarfs, Huntsman, and the Prince are very different. The first is simply called Snow White and was wrote by the Brothers Grimm and translated by Paul Hein�s. In the Grimm, things seem to go a step into the horror genre. The second is called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and was produced by the Walt Disney Company. The Disney version is more cheerful, most likely due to the fact that it was geared towards young children. The purpose of this paper was to contrast two particular versions and the characters. Snow White is the main character in both of the fairy tales. Snow Whites mother, the Queen, describes Snow White in the Grimm, to be white as snow, red as blood, and black as ebony. In the Disney version, a different character called the magic mirror describes Snow White. The magic mirror said, �Her lips blood red, her hair like night.
