1) 28 days later is a �Hybrid Genre� film that Comprises of Horror, Action, War and even Westerns. First of all we I will look at key elements in a typical Horror, action, war and western movie and show how these elements have been used in both the first 10 minutes of the film and the attack at the military base scene. First of all 28 Days later is obviously a horror film, technically it is a zombie movie although the films director, Danny Bolye and the films writer Alex Garland both strenuously deny they have created another Zombie movie, he claims the evil aren�t zombies they are the �infected� in his movie, it has all the clear hallmarks of an apocalyptic horror film, the zombies, the fight for survival, killing, etc In an Action movie there is typically a large warehouse, research lab or dock in the opening scene, in 28 days later the opening scene is set in a research lab, Also in action films there is usually red lighting as a sign of danger or warning in 28 days later there�s, what in my mind is the brilliant shot when the �mad scientist� is trying to warn them about the mo......
