. Introduction Depression is said to be one of the most common emotional problems that all human beings, especially the youth have to undergo and surpass. It may be caused by many risk factors, including both the biological and environmental aspects of an individual. It may also have one or more medications, since about 80% of people who get help for their depression can actually be treated and is able to achieve a better quality of life. This research projects sheds light upon the depression among the youth, the teenagers, the adolescents. These individuals are at the crucial point of their lives. Because of the variety of pressures that impinge upon them as they move from childhood to puberty to adolescence, from the simple life of a kid to the stress of their complicated world, they experience different kinds of depressive disorders which, more often than not, are not readily and immediately detected and understood by their families and sometimes, even misjudged and misinterpreted by physicians.
