Stem Cells There are many different types of stem cells. The three types in this paper are all being researched heavily right now in the world. They are Embryonic Stem Cells, Embryonic Germ Cells, and Adult Stem Cells. First, are the Embryonic Stem Cells? These stem cells are an undefined cell that comes from an aborted fetus or a laboratory created fetus. The Embryonic Stem Cell is of grave importance to the medicine because it is only one week old at the most. They have not developed any traits so that means that they could them any where and they will form to what it is indented to. For example if someone has diabetes or Parkinson�s these are cellular diseases that could be treated with Embryonic Stem Cells. Secondly, are the Embryonic Germ Cells? The Embryonic Germ Cells are taken from a specific part of the embryo and that is part is called the gonad ridge. This germ cell is usually sperm and eggs. They are taken away from fetuses older than eight weeks old. The ES and EG are very similar in the way that they can be generated into any different cell, but they are different ......
