No Control The air was thin and the sun was hiding behind the thick overcast. For the middle of summer, it was a pleasant surprise to finally be able to run the Woods Path and not worry about heat stroke or dehydrating. The Woods Path is a six mile round trip trail that goes around my housing development, about 20 feet into the trees around all property. As I stretched out in my Nike running shorts, shirt and New Balance shoes I thought about bringing my fanny pack with a liter of water, but decided I would turn back if I needed it. My suit is all polyester, not because it was comfortable, but because the guy on ESPN2 said that it should be � I�m new to exercising. I jumped down the three wooden stairs surrounding my porch, only to run directly behind my two story cape-style house in to the woods. I run so infrequently that tall grass has grown in, lining the cement path. To start my run, I had to jump the barrier and then I was good. Taking in the sights and sounds on the way made it seem less like running, and more like watching the Discovery channel. There was a small wind......
