It is now the topic of TV shows and movies, and has made its way into the mainstream of media. This does not mean that the problem has been solved, but just that it has been exposed. There is still a great deal of work required to solve this societal problem and address the needs of the people who are dealing with abuse situations. Brantford�s Nova Vita Domestic Violence Prevention Services works to address this important and identified global need and offers the required services to the local community. Solving this type of problem is difficult and has required a multidimensional approach, which includes looking at many different aspects of women�s lives.
