Talk Show In today�s media, TV talk shows have taken over every channel on daytime television. Many people have watched or heard of various talk show hosts like Sally Jessy Raphael, Dr. Phil, or Ricki Lake. Anyone who watches daytime television knows that each show has its special format. Some might prefer, the warm, heart touching Oprah Winfrey show. While others might enjoys Dr. Phil and his life lessons. But the two shows that stand out to me the most would be Jerry Springer and Maury Povich show. Jerry Springer is easily considered the king of �trash talk�. His topics are commonly involving sex, lust, cheating, homosexuality, and sex changes. In almost every episode you see, various guest getting into fights, or various women in the audience taking off their top�s, just to get a string of beads for their neck. Show topics vary from love triangles, pregnant teenage prostitutes, and adult film stars. All very shocking episodes, but the public enjoy watching others in bad predicaments.
