It was Southern California and you had the Topanga Canyon, this is where 2 couples lived very close together but were yet worlds apart. Delaney Mossbacher lived on top of a very large hill over looking the canyon with his wife Kyra Menaker-Mossbacher and his son Jordan Mossbacher. The Mossbacher’s were a very liberal family with a passion for recycling and fitness. The next couple is Candido Rincon and America Rincon. This married couple lives at the bottom of the canyon and are illegal immigrants from Mexico. America is a pregnant mom that lives in the canyon since they have to stay low and can’t go spend money on an apartment or any other shelter. When America Left Mexico for the United States she had one dream and that was to live in a typical neighborhood with trees, sidewalks, shops, markets, some modern appliances, a TV and in front of her clean white house she could only imagine a little yard where she could put her chickens sometimes.
