Eschatology (the study of the end times) is a study, which interests many people. There are many different Christian views on how the end times will come to be. The way the end times is described in the bible is very general (which is the way it was meant to be), but we were not satisfied with that. We thought we needed more structure, which is the main reason why so many views were formed. Grudem explains well what is meant when people say general eschatology, �(Revelations) tells us about the second coming of Christ, the millennium, the final judgment, eternal punishment for unbelievers and eternal reward for believers, and life with God in the new heaven and new Earth (p.1091).� The facts are pretty straight forward maybe to straight forward.
