Music as a Communicator Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Last summer I traveled around the world to study how music helped the communication in the world. I wanted to find out why people used music to communicate with each other when they were able to talk. Also, if it was a form if communication, how did people use it. I think that the info I collected answered all of my questions. Music was used to express emotions, but it was also used as a communicator. It was really interesting how far back people used music to interact with each other.
On my journey I took a quick trip back in time at an old history museum. I traveled back to the stone age at the beginning of time. Back then they could not talk so they used forms of art to tell each other what they might be thinking. They drew pictures, exercised in physical activities (sports), and they played music! The “cavemen” made flutes out of bones and drums out of animal skins. They used these instruments to create different rhythms and tones that represented different words to create a sentence and communicate with each other.
