Canadian Tire Considers Expansion to US Introduction Canadian Tire has been an industry leader by continually developing and expanding over the years. It has expanded its product line, grown to a national operation and has acquired significant interest in an international business. Currently, CTC, is exploring new options available to continue this growth and is seeking a new venture which will prevent financial performance from flat-lining. Basically, CTC is approaching the early stages of the maturity (see exhibit 3) in the life cycle and wants to be able to increase synergy and return to the growth stage.
