My life has never been really easy for me. In elementary school I was a slow reader and I wasn�t up to speed with all the other kids which made me fall behind. My mom would make me sit down and do all of my homework and not let me go outside and play until it was all done. It wasn�t until fourth grade that I managed to catch back up with all of the other kids, and after I was able to catch up with the standards of the other fourth graders it has been grinded into me that I will go to college and graduate no matter what. Once I had grown up a little and realized what college really was, I have always had this fear inside of me that I wouldn�t make it because of my past and because of a piece of paper that has all my grades on it. This piece of paper has always made me nervous because I don�t have perfect grades, I�m not part of the top ten percent of the school and I don�t have anything that says wow this person should definitely be admitted to our school. But despite this and even without the grinding, I have told myself that I was going to go to college because this has now......
