As you know, Shakespeare is arguably the greatest playwright ever in the history of writing plays. He had a way with writing plays, especially about historical people, that everyone wanted to see, but the way he did this did not always agree with the actual historical facts about whom he was writing about. His play �Macbeth� was one of his greatest plays, and he wrote it about the actual Scottish king, but there are many things that he changed and distorted between the historical Macbeth and the one he created through his play that was acted out at the Globe Theater. I am going to identify many of the misconceptions that we got out of Macbeth through the work of Shakespeare, and I will also talk about the similarities that led Shakespeare to most of his plot for �Macbeth.� By doing this, I will try and flush out the differences between the two Macbeth�s.
