It’s what we wanted and what we started, a slice of freedom, something we as Americans take for granted daily and find ourselves with less then what we really want. The war in Iraq is for the cause of freedom, keeping it in our safety and helping others to gain what we have. I cannot say rather or not if it was the right or wrong thing to have done. Although in this I will discuss, culture and how it plays a part, how it should have never affected us, and finally how leaving these people would make things worse.
In Iraq they have a way of doing things—a way most Americans wouldn’t even want to understand. Its part of who they are and the culture that they represent. We as Americans want them to be free, and they—being who they are—have a completely different view. Even if they want freedom, they may not be able to fully understand what we are doing to give them freedom. Our soldiers are getting killed in their country, to try and give them something that they are not ready for. This part of the war may not be as simple as taking over their country, and we as Americans......
