�The Street Lawyer,� by John Grisham tells a story about a wealthy man who sees the world though the eyes of another, less fortunate individual. A life altering experience makes him realize that everyone does not have it easy. There are many people in the world in serious need of help; unfortunately they watch richer people pass by without a nod in their direction. This book breaks the stereotype that all homeless people are alcoholics or drug addicts. Also, it shows that there are women children and veterans that have ended up on the streets due to legal technicalities or other unfortunate circumstances. Michael Brock is a young dedicated lawyer who is climbing his way to the top at Drake & Sweeney, one of the biggest law firms in Washington D.C. He was only three years away from a partnership. Michael had never paid any attention to the less fortunate. After a violent encounter with a homeless man he was stopped dead in his tracks. Michael survived; his assailant did not. Who was this man?
