Competitive Spirit The competitive spirit is shown in athletes from young age ametures to Proffesionals in their 60�s. It is the will to keep competing wether you are the underdog and everyone knows your going to lose, or you�re the champion and its an easy win but you still give it your all. This urge to take that extra step is in the true athletes of today. In the movies Rocky and Cinderella Man, the competitive spirit shines through like never had been seen before. Rocky Balboa is a washed up boxer that had the skill to become a great boxer. But his upbringing and lifestyle prevented him from this. He never received the right training and publication that any good boxer must receive to make it in the big time of boxing. One day the World Heavyweight Champions, Apollo Creed, opponent is injured, and no one will fight him on such short notice of eight weeks.
