These pressures even extend into our schools affecting teens and young adults. Often times, this is the catalyst that leads to eating disorders. Just what is an eating disorder? An eating disorder can be considered to be disturbances in a person�s normal eating habits. These disturbances consist of deliberately starving oneself or taking in abnormally low amounts of calories.
