I Never Thought It Would Be Me It was a hot and beautiful summer day, the sun was just falling behind the hills. My mother rings a bell letting my brother Lucas and I know that dinner was ready. As we got on are bikes and head for home I think to myself, I�m such a lucky girl and I would not trade my life for anything. When we reach home our mother is standing on the porch waiting for us. We all head inside and Lucas and I wash up for dinner. As we are sitting down to eat the phone rings, Lucas answers, it is his best friend BJ calling to see if he would like to come to his house for a sleepover and ice cream. Lucas knows that he must ask before he answers, so he does, and my mother lets him know that will be fine, but not till we are done with dinner. After we finish up Lucas gets what he needs for the sleepover and we all pile into the car and head to BJ�s house. Although this day seemed wonderful, what happened next was so horrifying and changed my life forever. Once we arrive at BJ�s house, BJ and his father Lyell are both awaiting our arrival. BJ�s father comes over......
