When one thinks of the industrial revolution, they think about loads of grime-covered paupers standing over an assembly line, working away fashioning thing by repetitive routines on a primitive machine. This was a large part of the industrial revolution, but it was actually a huge change in society and how money was made. Before the industrial revolution, almost all of the people who were not nobility, made their money by either farming, making wool or making beer or wine at your house, which would be, isolated in the midst of the British countryside or maybe in a small village with half a dozen or so other extended families. This changed after the industrial revolution, all jobs were then centre around one building where all the people of that occupation would work together, so they moved together into towns which eventually evolved into cities like London.
The modernists of their time thought that to create machines which would make producing goods faster and with less skill was a way of conquering nature to go at their will and make natural materials l......
