�The Scandal of the Evangelical Conscience� Ronald J. Sider Ronald J. Sider had discovered astounding truths of Evangelical Christians and their lives. His findings were quite disturbing when he found evidence of little to no change in lifestyle between Christians and non-Christians. In this paper, I would like to discuss his discoveries and explore some of the reasons why Christians are living just like the rest of the world. I will also attempt to suggest some possible proposals to correct this dying world and bring a higher correlation between what we teach and what we actually practice. George Barna found striking evidence that there was a higher percentage of divorce for born-again Christians than non-Christians. Brad Wilcox had found this to be true when his studies showed that compared to the rest of the population, the conservative Protestants were more likely to divorce, especially in the southern states.
