One of the most tragic events that occurred was the Holocaust. Basically what the holocaust was is being killed because of ones religious beliefs. Many Jews suffered including Elie Wiesel the author of �Night.� He went through many obstacles to survive the Holocaust which changed him as a person throughout the story. At the beginning of the story Elie feels scared about what could happen next in his life since they were under the Germans rules. He starts losing faith when he sees things he never though he would see for example like, babies being burned. He simply stops caring when the lost of a loved one occurred. As the Holocaust progressed all the Jews began to become scared of what might happen next not knowing when the war would end following orders of the German Troops. �For the first time I felt revolt rise up on me.� (pg.31) as shown in this quote Elie begins to feel fear around him.
