The band Nirvana was started by a man named Kurt Cobain. Kurt was born February 20th 1967 in Hoquiam, Washington 140 km�s west from Seattle. His mother was a cocktail waitress and his father was an auto mechanic. Kurt was a normal happy child until the age of 7 when his parents divorced. He said himself that he never felt loved or secure from that day on. Growing up was difficult for him because of His parents split up, he found himself living with different relatives and even homeless underneath a bridge at one point. Kurt had a rough time at school as well because of his artistry and poor attitude. Kurt had always like music and experienced many different bands over the years of his live until 1986 when Nirvana was created. The members of Nirvana were first Kurt Cobain and Chris Novoselic. The two were friends before the band was created they met in 1985. Together they formed a band called Fecal Matter but never seemed to be right for the two of them and didn�t last for even one year.
