Her work The Second Sex, based on her religious values, includes various examples of existentialism. �One wonders if women still exist, if they will always exist, whether or not it is desirable that they should, what place they occupy in this world, what their place should be.� This quote is the main premise for the rest of her work, and it shows different ways in which her thoughts were similar to those of an existentialist.
