English Speech Good morning teachers and senior school students. Today I�m going to talk to you about an issue that comes to mind every time I think of school. DISCRIMINATION!! That ugly word discrimination whether you hear about it, read about it or even see it, it�s ugly. I believe discrimination is affecting our schools, senior students should be more aware of their surroundings and what they say to their peers. I would like to discuss the issue today relating to the book Gracey. Gracey is about a young aboriginal teenage girl who undergoes many changes in her life because of discrimination. Gracey and her aboriginal community have a strong grudge against the white society of something that happened many years ago. In this book there are small phrases showing inequity towards the aborigines. The author of the book James moloney uses a number of techniques to express the attitudes of the white culture towards the aborigines.
