CruiserThorr is a $5 billion company that manufactures a range of motorcycles and produces more than 200,000 units per year. This paper is based on an online simulation about the company in which I will formulate their position strategy. I will construct a perpetual map, and begin choosing its parameters. Within this paper, I will address the three phases of the simulation on using perceptual maps in marketing. For each phase, I will describe the situation, describe my recommended solution(s), including why, and the results of my decisions. I will then summarize the different marketing components addressed in the simulation by describing the relationship between differentiation and positioning of products or services. Afterwards, I will address my expectations about the repositioning of the product, and the impact of the product life cycle on marketing.
