Due to the post-war economic boom, the rise of incomes, the reduction of family sizes, the professionalized adverting, and the development of marketing, clothing had turned into more popular among middle-class, affluent working-class and, notably, the youth market. Accordingly, the post-Fordism, offering highly standardized products that are responsive and receptive to the needs of the consumers, emerged by the 1980s. The apparent transition toward post-Fordism was an increasingly new technology such as computer aided design, which reflected a more flexible and consumer-oriented industry to serve customers�� needs with maximum efficiency.
