Metaphors to Life Life passes by so fast that it has not been quite understandable, but astonishing at the same time! Although there have been fun, memorable moments, it has also been so stressful. It was not until a Tuesday after school, when I noticed just how fast my life had been going. What seemed like yesterday, when I was going to Head Start was so long ago. Currently, in my senior year of high school, I can compare my life and things I have been through, to so many things. Every stage in my life has been a big step and when times get hard, I simply say different metaphors to help cope through them. Life is a building; you start with a solid foundation, and then add floors and rooms. This is a great description on how my life has been. Actually, not only I can benefit from this saying, but also any human being can relate to this. The event that I most remember applying this to is when I completed a school year successfully.
