Faith is hard to find in this generation of vanished souls. What prevents people from having faith? A Christian might answer, “The fall of man is where it began.” Corruption, self-centeredness, sloth, lust, envy, and an outbreak of amoral behavior have infected a lot of humankind’s faith. I have asked an open question to a few people: “What is something you really believe in? It could be anything.” Out of twenty people, not one had a specific answer. Thus, with a fading of faith ensues a deterioration of religion. With the deterioration of religion, comes the breakdown of human moral values. Children do not honor their parents as they once did. Stealing becomes a prevalent crime in today’s generation. A person in this decade thinks that committing adultery is not that bad. People tend to lie more frequently in today’s society. People put other gods before God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Life becomes less valuable, and people are not as horrified over mass murder, as they once were.
