The poem �Night Wind� by Christopher Dewdney is a very powerful poem with a lot of imagery and feelings that come out as one reads it. It describes the amazing powers that wind seems to have and the �feelings� that seems to run through its veins (metaphorically speaking of course). It can travel at great speeds and across great distances, �Tonight the wind blows through // all the worlds I have known�� It has great force and agility, �The wind blows in the trees, // deeper into each��, �Restless, impatient, it races without burden.� The wind can find you anywhere �The night wind implores me through walls, // claims me inside buildings.� This �Night Wind� that the writer describes so vividly, seems to have some sort of evil inside of it, as if the wind was one of the devil�s helpers going around spooking everything and everyone; �a deliverance // beside the dark shape of trees. Oaks // that wrestle the gusty twilight // under starry skies.� The �dark� shape of trees seems to reflect evil, shadows are often already thought off as kind of �scary�, but the writer deliberately points out......
