Michael Moore�s documentary, �Fahrenheit 9/11,� considers the presidency of George W. Bush and where it has led America, specifically into the War on Terrorism. In this film Moore investigates the rapid growth of the United States government and its consistent trend of trampling the rights of individuals, and the corporatism that is been initiated because of these close ties between big government and big business during wartime. The idea is an emotional one, namely that America has been living in a kind of nightmare for the last few years, one that began not with the events of Sept. 11, 2001, but from the moment that the networks took Florida out of the Gore column on election night 2000. Moore posits that the main source of America's nightmare has been the presidency of George W. Bush. Michael Moore may not sway all audiences, but is successful for its factual accuracy, and at the same time, Moore's ability to transpose and merge scenes to create impressions that supported all his allegations and opinions.
