Felicia Lane In 384 BC Aristotle was born in Greece, but more than a human was born, a piece of history was made, and Aristotle the father of Nichomachus, made him part of the royal family. His first skills were in medicine, but in 367 he decided to switch professions to philosophy and with the help of Pluto became educated in the field. He spent most of his next couple years in The School of Athens learning from Plato. When Plato died, Aristotle continued to teach others his knowledge. He tutored Alexander the Great in 338, after studding biology Asia Minor (Turkey). Aristotle had made many contributions to natural science. Aristotle being a philosopher believed that every living thing was born to change. Size characteristic and shape were all variables in this change. Aristotle also came up an idea of animal classification, using genera with similar characteristics, and then distinguished them by species.
