Ansel Adams A Master Of Photography Ansel Adams loved to take photos of American Western landscapes. He was also associated with visionary sense of the redemptive beauty of the wilderness and the importance of its preservation. The popularity of Ansel Adam�s work has been enhanced by the extraordinary technical perfection he put into his photography. It has also been enhanced by the insistence on having absolute control over his photographic process. He was born in San Francisco in 1902 and later developed an early interest in music and the piano, which he hoped would become his professional career. He took his first photo in 1916 of Yosemite Valley. Early in his life he studied photography with a photofinisher to get the affect of the pictorialist style.
