Discrimination among Immigrants As a hardworking teen growing up in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico, Jos� lived a pretty harsh life. Living in a cardboard shack with 8 other siblings, he did what he could to support them. Working in the fields, and giving what he could to support the rest of the family. It�s just not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He wanted to make it in life. He wanted to be an American. Watching the TV in the city of all the amenities and luxuries that the Americans had, Jos� wanted to live like that. He just didn�t know what to do about his whole situation; he knew wanted to go to America, but on the other hand he needed to be with his family because he was one of there main channels of support on the money end of things. So he thought and thought and thought about going to America until his brain was strained. He finally came upon his decision; Jos� would go to America to live out his dreams.
