The society defines me as another Hispanic failure. Most Hispanics now are said to be young parents. Some are also known to leave school after high school or even before. They usually settle for low paying jobs, working long hard hours on jobs others do not want. Some fear about their legal status, and hide from moving up on their class due to fear. While others don�t have enough resources to continue after high school. I am more than just a Hispanic failure. I am now 18 years old I have finished my 12 years of school. I never wanted to leave school nor did I ever actually fail a class. I was an average student never in honors but I was never in a failing position either. I do not have children, since that would only complicate my future plans. I of course know many girls that are young parents, but it has not stopped them from wanting to get a better education. Growing up academic achievement was always a must in my house. The only way we could progress was through our education. That has been my motive all my life. I am now attending Elgin Community College and planning......
