I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in anything we choose to do, whether it is positive abilities and skills that can help achieve our goals or negative personal areas that need improvement. Knowing yourself and what you can do, can help you recognize and overcome your weaknesses. An obvious goal as an adult in school, of course, is to earn a degree. My overall goal is no different than any other student; however, I also have several personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the Art Institute of Boston. Some of these goals are to acquire new skills and enhance my current abilities, to apply what I learn in the classroom to forward my career, and to feel personal satisfaction in finishing something I started.
