Hip-hop. Probably the most evolved of all musical genres. The whole �rap� culture has increased dramatically within the past six to eight years. However, the music has been around for many. Decades as a matter of fact. The first recorded hip-hop music was produced in the early 1970�s. Yet, there is not a single pioneer to this genre. There are quite a few DJ�s who tried to take their claim as the originator. Just a few that tried to claim the top spot were Pete DJ Jones, Kool DJ Herc, and DJ Hollywood. These are just a few that originated the music that would influence America�s society years later, in ways in which they could not have expected. The best way to explain hip-hop is talking in rhymes to the rhythm of the beat. Hip-hop originated with what was called the B-Boy, or Beat Boy. DJ Herc and the B-Boy instituted the whole hip-hop movement. During this time, another modern day hobby was also created. Break dancing became popular very quick.
