To answer this, conflict resolution is generally the way of resolving an argument or disagreement between two groups using methods that are non-violent to come to an agreement between the two parties. Conflict resolution could also technically include violent methods of solving an argument as well, but those always lead to greater problems in the long run. Some common non-violent methods of approaching conflict resolution are mediation, arbitration, negotiation, conciliation, and litigation.
