How art reflects political power. Some 60,000 years ago art changed who you were, and how you were worshiped. Between pyramids, masks, ziggurats, stella’s, temples it made it possible for everyone to recognize those with power, fame, and whom were close to god. Even though these important people such as; Priests, Pharaohs, Kings, Gods, Queens were highly recognized from the start, their art work, tombs, creations made them remembered forever. Priesthood of ancient Egypt has great history, rooted within the traditions of Ancient Egypt. The role of Egyptian priest or priestess were very different within the society as a whole, rather than seeking the divine rights of thee gods, they were act as if being a priest/priestess was a everyday job. They made it take over their life, and this gave the people of the town something to worship them for. Not only because they were considered to be to the closest to God, but because they took their role very seriously.
