Three Kings Day (Dia De Los Reyes); is a Christian celebration that commemorates the biblical story of the three wise men that followed the star of Bethlehem to bring gifts to baby Jesus who was going to be the redeemer of the world, for the forgiveness of the sins of humankind. According to the Biblical stories and books I read about the Three Wise Men (Los Reyes Magos) found baby Jesus wrapped in cloths, and placed in a manger because there was no room for Mary and Joseph his parents in an inn while the census was taking place in that century. When the Three Wise Men saw the child was being adored by shepherds, they also worshiped the child. �Worship is an act of expressing reverence and honor�.They opened their treasures and presented baby Jesus three gifts. The first gift was gold which represented the spiritual wealth of the child, the second was incense which signifies his priest hood, and the third was the oil, myrrh which was used for medicine as well as for a spiritual purposes.
