Our attitudes and behaviors are constantly influenced by the world around us. As young children, our world view in very small. For the most part, we only have our parent�s viewpoints and beliefs to rely on. As we grow older and our abilities to comprehend what is going on around us improve, we are able to rationalize our own thoughts and viewpoints. Everything around us throughout our lives gives us a challenge to figure out who we truly are. Our attitudes and behaviors are very fluid, shifting and changing as the world around us shifts and changes. The social norms and cultural norms are a foundation of what others expect of us. Throughout our lives, we are walking a fine line between who we are and who we are expected to be. The journey through life is one of searching for oneness with self. We can look out for ideas and challenges, but ultimately, we must learn to look within to find the true answers of who we are, and only then can we find a resolution to the constant internal conflict.
