In this same world there wouldn't be a disparity between the number of the people needing organs and the number of organs available. This is somewhat a fantasy, with the possibility of coming true in the near future. Researchers are embarking on the newly hot topic of Embryonic Stem Cell Research. For the past several years, there has been controversy surrounding stem cell research. And for years, bills have been arriving on the desks of the former President Bill Clinton, and President George Bush, only to be vetoed. The biotechnology companies currently use private funding and fertility clinics to support their research. They would however like the United States Government to pay for their research because they say the knowledge gained will benefit all mankind.
