The United States of America is facing a major economic issue do to the war against terrorism. This war has been continuous since 2001. When President Bush first declared war, most of the Americans were satisfied if not furious, because they were scared at that point and felt the need for security and protection. The war to stop terrorism made us feel secure, as America was a very high terror target. The war has had many serious results such as death and destruction to instability to our economy. The estimated cost for the war was $200 billion. Over the past four years the direct cost of the war was $750 billion to $1.1 trillion which was way over the estimated cost. The war alone cost as an enormous amount of money which is now becoming a non-beneficial loss to many people. It�s not beneficial because instead of the U.S. saving lives it feels more as though we are throwing lives away. The American soldiers that lost their lives in this war actually cost us up to $20 billion due to life insurance and death benefit. The wars......
