Juvenile Delinquency I am studying Criminal Justice, so I am doing my research on Juvenile Delinquency. My first search was threw Google. I visited a web site (www.agyp.org) I learned of The Andrew Youth Program. This program provides an alternative to incarceration that works. The idea is simple. Instead of sending the kids to jail, the kids are sent to The Andrew Youth Program. Their mission is to intervene and reclaim young people from lives of crime, to provide an overloaded court system with a reliable Alternative to incarceration for youths. This program also solves the Problems that got the individuals their in the first place. It could have been a family problem, drug habit, alcohol abuse or even illiteracy. Recent studies show that the United States has more than one million people in jail or waiting trial are juveniles. We have over used incarceration so much we have succeeded in Socializing a whole generation of going to jail. When individuals get out of prison, they almost always have the same problem when he or she gets out of prison. N......
