The research problem being investigated is whether CO2 does contribute to the runaway greenhouse effect and in addition if raising the CO2 levels is great for plants. Since there is two procedures to this experiment., there will be two hypotheses being tested:- Part I - The enclosure (mini-atmospheres) with limewater will have less heat than the one with air and the other with vinegar + baking soda. The enclosure with vinegar + baking soda will have greater amount of heat occupied within the atmosphere than either of the other atmospheres resulting in a substantial increase in temperature. Part II - The atmosphere with vinegar + baking soda will have a greater increase in temperature than the other containing limewater which generates the least amount of heat. Therefore increasing the amount of CO2 , will increase plant growth and in turn increase the oxygen being released as by-products. In addition, the water occupied by the aquatic plants will be more acidic resulting in a decrease in pH. An opposite effect will occur with the limewater enclosure in relation to the variables......
