Glamour is a magazine that is intended for a twenty plus year’s old, female audience who care about their health, appearance, and other recreational activities. Like any other magazine that it directed toward the same target audience, Glamour depicts an attractive and alluring female. On one month’s magazine, Glamour graced its cover with Jessica Simpson, a star that women see to be a beautiful and successful woman. Most women would probably look to buying Glamour in stores because Jessica Simpson is someone who they admire and probably wish to be like her. Glamour does a great job of portraying what is considered to be what an attractive woman should look like and be like.
When I was reviewing the content of the magazine, I found a KOOL cigarette ad that seemed appealing to me. The ad depicts an overly crowded bar packed with young attractive people.
