You should include in your answer an examination of scene 7 pp. 185-192 Blanche Dubois of Tennessee Williams’s ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ has many relationships with men throughout the play; although not all of them romantic, all result in Blanche doing her best to convey a flirtatious and playful nature, especially those relationships she has with men unbeknown to her, for example Young Man in Scene 5. Throughout the play Williams makes obvious Blanche’s dependence on men. She sees a relationship as the only way to be happy and attempts to form a connection with every man she meets, twisting her story to fit the certain criteria of that man.
